K-POP Demon Hunters was amazing. My only complaint was that it ended too quickly, which is a much better complaint than something dragging on. I laughed and I cried and I danced. On a long train journey. On my phone with earbuds.

This is definitely my experience. Students are also finding AI Generated content posted to ResearchGate and using it in their assignments.
“AI models not only point some users to false sources but also cause problems for researchers and librarians, who end up wasting their time looking for requested nonexistent records…”

I was shady towards #TheBeastInMe. It is uneven, it is heavy handed, it is not subtle. But it was fun!! A blast. Guilty pleasure 💯. I mean, I watch ‘90s Melrose Place… I have no right to be judgy about anything.

Saw Sunset Boulevard for the first time ever and on the big screen no less. What a an absolutely stacked movie. So big yet so intimate. Wonderful.

My Spotify wrapped summary is that my band took all our music off Spotify because the company’s CEO invests the billions which he doesn’t pay artists on AI drone weapons tech.

Ditch Spotify. Pay artists. Redistribute wealth. Stop war. Happy Christmas!

#TheBeastInMe - definitely a guilty pleasure, melodramatic and a little silly but a good time

I wished the man at the Post Office a merry Christmas and he was so confused it’s a miracle I’m still part of society and I didn’t spontaneously combust with embarrassment

The worst thing about buying anything secondhand on eBay is the AI generated nonsense that people put up describing the object.
JUST TELL ME THE CONDITION INFORMATION I DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR ARTIFICIALLY GENERATED ADJECTIVES

I need to work on this model more than once every couple months. 😂 My first Gunpla! This is an official model of a Zaku Mobile Suit as featured in the series Mobile Suit Gundam. Bad guys always look cooler - fact. It’s how you can spot them!

This month's temporary obsession seems to be vintage automatic watches. 2months ago it was mechanical keyboards (never bought one though). Today I won an 80's Orient Tri-star (automatic movement) on eBay for £35. These were mass produced&inexpensive, so I know it's not a special find, but I'm happy!

2 episodes into Netflix's #TheBeastInMe. Not prestige intense drama, but fun guilty pleasure. We giggle every time Clare Danes Googles something with one finger (isn't she supposed to be a WRITER?). For this series, SHOW DON'T TELL seems to mean showing us google results. Matthew Rhys ELECTRIC tho.

Walkabout Mini Golf in VR is diabolically amazing. The treasure hunt aspect is next level fun. So simple, but so rewarding and addictive.

In our #DCCRPG game our lv1 wizard wanted to enlarge our warrior before a fight. The warrior was shrunk down to the form of a tiny baby before growing back to 10% more than his previous size &the wizard was bathed in holy light while a blue star burned on his forehead. This game is weird. ❤️

"Weeding Is Fundamental" an episode from the podcast 99% Invisible. It's about the practice of weeding books, and how an earthquake in the late '80s sparked a furore around the practice of weeding. Really good stuff, if you're into books or libraries LISTEN. 99percentinvisible.org/episode/weed...

Our hacker character was the star of the show during a recent #BeamSaber game. Turning the tide and evening the odds. Hacks, counter hacks, databombs and taking control of enemy turret systems. She's not often available for the sessions but this time she SHINED.

Primo Research Assistant was something we trialled at RGU, though I must admit I didn't attempt any "controversial" searches. Such a thing shouldn't really be a barrier in academia. We SHOULD be researching such things. What's going on.
