Yeah, well I was trying to mostly agree with you but bobbled it on my end. 😅

Right. And one of my points is that the typical ADHD accommodations I’m aware of would be helpful in this regard for any student. So restricting them to those with an ADHD diagnosis doesn’t make sense to me.

Would this be close enough to qualify as a “misspelling” in Final Jeopardy?

And driverless cars will be everywhere by 2026. And Mars will be colonized next week by people who can't make a non-exploding rocket. Fairies will scatter pixie dust that gives all humans an endless supply of lollipops. It's like living in the most stupid, dangerous production of "The Music Man."

Yes, I read the studies. Did you read my comment? PHEVs aren’t matching the predicted efficiencies, is what the studies say. But that doesn’t mean owners literally aren't plugging them in. It means the usage model was wrong.

”people … do not… plug them in”. That’s not what the studies say or what the linked article claims.

The studies show only that real-world effective gas mileage for PHEVs is worse on average than the EPA model predicted. Plenty of reasons for that, but the owners being lazy or stupid isn’t one.

The worst thing to happen to academia was the emergence of a nomadic administrative class like the one in corporations who just move from institution to institution setting fires and walking away.

Say what you will about the flaws of faculty governance, but at least they believe in the mission.

The water used directly by many datacenters for cooling purposes comes from municipal water treatment plants. That water is not used for irrigation, and is far more limited.

The water used by farms for irrigation is not at all the same as the water used by datacenters, fwiw. You undercut your point by obscuring this difference.
