America is not now, has not ever been, nor will ever be a "Christian Nation." It is profoundly unamerican to say it is.
POV: Your spouse is neither white nor Christian but you need the support of people who demand both.

Chris Rufo makes a passionate plea for Americans to confine themselves to fact-based bigotry and fear and ignorance.
*Chris Rufo* warns X is making the right too conspiratorial:

"Americans can stick to...empirical reality or...follow conspiracy theories... For the Right, the danger is that an increasingly large fraction of our political coalition is choosing the second path"

7 of the 8 worst people on earth since 1945.
This is a photo from the Vanity Fair article. Notice how they have to arrange it so Stephen Miller is on the end, so it isn’t obvious that there is no reflection of him on the mirrored table.🧛

I wish I had something eloquent to say here, but really just fuck 2025. This year blows.

I never met Rob, but his movies were defining. They taught us to love, to be weird and be ok, to dream big, and so many other life lessons.
SAG-AFTRA today honors the legacy of filmmaker, actor and SAG-AFTRA member Rob Reiner, who died today at the age of 78. Rob Reiner was a member of our union for nearly 60 years. We send love and warmth to Rob Reiner and Michele Singer Reiner’s families, friends and colleagues.

My guess is that some of his advisors think they can convince the courts at least SCOTUS to say presidents can pardon ANY crime. The goal would be to make his administration completely unaccountable to any law. This is the canary in the coal mine for that effort.
The Convicted FElon is now saying that he pardoned Tina Peters, even though he doesn't have any power over state convictions.
But he wants to control all levels of government, Federal, State & Local governments.

You could impeach him and mirror the tone and language of the Declaration of Independence. You could have constituents volunteer reasons in which they were personally harmed by his crimes, and it could be a true citizen's impeachment. (In Illinois, not hard!) A lot of visible avenues.

100% this.
The fact that a second strike like that in an armed conflict is definitely a war crime should not completely negate the fact that *there is no war* and ALL the strikes are cold-blooded murder. The whole chain of command are murderers.

Like its too small to spend a lot of time fighting but also fuck that I paid my taxes.
