I was trying to catch something of the colours & textures & fuzziness of species that visit my garden. But when you love moths? It's hard to feel anything you make is a good enuf representation!

Also, no species is really one single colour…

Its very smooth and great for writing. Bold, anyway. Hence I load it with red for bold notes :-)

I don’t have a Naginata but I have an Endless Phantom Capless and that has a blade nib which is as you describe.

This is a stub nib. Like an italic but rounded at the corners. No, or almost no tipping underneath.
It writes broad on the down stroke and thin going sideways.
