A collection of moths trying to cosplay a human interdisciplinary artist. MedSci escapee, always drawing, in my chaos-bisexual-enby-hag era. Paintmaker. Moth, disability, & art-related sh*t-posting. https://linktr.ee/lycomorpha & lycomorpha.etsy.com

Bemused at all the people suddenly following me, so uhh.

Hi? Here's some things to know.

I swear a lot. If you're offended by words like wankspangled knobcockle, I'm not for you.

I post many moths & other bugs. I talk/yell about alt text, chronic life, pencils, & paint. I post paint-making a lot…

These pans also look oddly satisfying. They're a mixture of homemade chalks (row 1) & ochres (last couple of rows), & mixed pigment colours drying for sets.

Also did 4 mini-mulls of vivianite on 1 plate, to test different binders. Got a couple of folks lined up to test them for me vs. a prev batch!

Good morning and welcome to 'how many pans can I fit on one tray.'

Today featuring the colours darkwoods, pale bark, forest floor, Italian light gold ochre (PY43), & hedgerow jam.

Most of these are for new sets. Not quite ready for their final layer except for the ochre. Gotta be patient.

12. Fuckheads flying formation

Useful for when a clump of particularly twatulent shitbirds all decent at once to crap on your day.

13. Jizz-pigeon

Because you know what they say... Jizz-pigeons of a feather flock together.

Kitty says 'shit the bed!' when something incredibly surprising or unexpected happens, but I've never heard the added almighty! 😂

11. Shituation

As in: it's Monday, my stapler exploded, throwing stabby little staples all over the floor, & it's creating quite a shituation here.

10. Raison d'asshat

When some dickweasel person/company/etc seems to exist solely to be an asshat.

As in 'yeah they're always tryna make people use their annoying AI integrations, it's their entire raison d'asshat.'

Frankly some of this already kicked off here. We've been illegally deporting ppl since TM was home sec.

& we had a head start on transphobic bullshit.

(We already got section 28 #2. & I'm old enuf to remember the original, so don't gimme any crap about administrative diffs. The effect is the same)

Fascism comes for everyone who doesn't capitulate, & plenty of them that do.

Reform is just as likely to deport our neighbours, set up illegal detention camps, destroy our healthcare system, devastate public services, etc etc.

They're not just gonna trample people u don't like. Not how this works.

People in the UK would do well to pay attention to both this & the racist/xenophobic/transphobic actions happening at home.

All of this could happen here. All of this could happen to us.

& If you think you're safe because of how you look, who you love, where you're born, etc etc?

You're not.
No document will protect you. All they have to do is take it from you and "lose" it; take it from you and say you never gave it to them; claim it's fake ⬇️; make a new rule that you need ANOTHER document. Citizenship is a made-up status that governments decide the rules for. No one is free until all.
Dulce Consuelo Diaz Morales was born in Maryland. She has a valid U.S. birth certificate, medical and immunization records, and sworn affidavits.

Yet, ICE claims her documents are “not authentic” and has held her in immigration detention for days.

There’s a whole different conversation there about how surrogacy is handled in the U.K. but the important point here is that it’s incredibly rare to do paternity test before filling out a birth certificate so this judge is just being transphobic

So, one of my friends carried a surrogate pregnancy- egg donor and the dads’ sperm- and when the baby was born, despite having no biological relation to my friend, let alone her husband, her husband was put as the father on birth certificate. So uh. This doesn’t track
A transgender man cannot be registered as “father” on the birth certificates of children delivered by his female partner, a senior judge has ruled. He could not be registered as such because he was neither the biological nor gestational parent of either child. [Times]

Same! Swatching is very therapeutic. Some of the mixtures I made last night might be useful in future. 😁

Kremer isn't cheap to ship here either, TBH. I usually buy from UK resellers, unless I need multiple things or big enuf quantity to make the shipping worth it.

Thank u for joining me, this has been 'dicking around with leftover paint because fuck it, it's Friday.'

Everything I do to enjoy being alive while also being disabled has the potential to piss off a fascist. So y'know, this mess? It's all good, even/especially when it's just playing. 😘
