Had a little time away because of family illness, but here's an updated look at one of the shaders for These Lanes I Watch Into The Fog. Some palette work and modelling to do, but we're getting there. Thanks for bearing with. See you in 2026

Some new texture tests and animation instancing for the new show. Slowly but surely.

Yes, I will fix the hands.

Had a bit chop at my website.
Its got a bouncepage, a bit of a load time, and not much new information at the moment. But, hey, it's a living. More as we get it.

I've been touring this show around for a little while, its been lovely to do and nice to recieve some nice things along the way. It's coming to the end with some dates in Turku, Finland, and London before I drive it and the van into the sea.

This Government refused to stand up when they witnessed Genocide. Shameful cowardice or inhuman complicity that should follow each and every one of them around for the rest of their lives.

Had to postpone the shows this autumn. Apologies if you bought tickets. Back soon.

Having the refs mic'ed up has confirmed the thing I always knew. That the only phrase they say with any sense of authority is 'mum says you have to give me a turn with the controller'.

I'll be honest, San Pellegrino, if I open up someone's fridge and see that then I'd be 100% certain they're a serial killer.

I mostly work in realtime animation so up to this point I've mainly been making textures smaller to process faster. Besides a couple of months in my MA I've never really gone into shader maths before, so its cool to have a bit of a go.

On my lunch hour I had another little go at Cotton Wool, density + displacement maps, and a bit of maths etc. Bit too silky, not quite enough disruption as yet.

Finally getting down to actually understanding the maths behind height maps. Avoided it for years but the time has come. Also, trying to rid myself of all adobe poison so learning Da Vinci Resolve workarounds.

Here's a bad thing I made as a test because the colour spaces are different. ENJOY.

Going to a new material night as my new character 'Comedian who hasn't yet realised he has sleep paralysis'

'We all have that one mate, don't we? Stands at the end of your bed in the middle of the night, his face is a empty void'

'Sitting on my chest, dressed as a witch, what's all that about?'

Nearly twenty years since this record came out. I remember asking for it in Concepts record shop in Durham, only for the man to sigh, open the CD player and take it out. They only had one copy and he's been playing it on repeat.

Let's be clear. This is nothing. Demonstrations with thousands or even tens of thousands are frequently entirely ignored. That the BBC chooses to put this on the front page of their news website is a political decision as to what positions to push.
