I would like to find more product related content on Bluesky as a substitute for unnamed sites I used to frequent.

Who else should be on this list? Please mention them if their posts frequently touch upon product, PM, UX design, engineering, tech innovation, etc. I will add.

Sounds a lot like “I don’t have any measurable results but shipped a lot of features.”
I need "Stats are down but he played great" to make it into the lexicon.

Designers, engineers & data scientists: who are the top community organizations in your space?

@chiprodalliance.bsky.social wants to serve the full product triad. Our initial groups & attendees have skewed more towards PM than we'd like.

Help us make progress here! Who should we work with?

I had the privilege of speaking at Mind the Product Chicago last night on expanding future impact for product teams. Energized by the engaged product leaders who showed up.

• Alphabet X moonshots expect a 2% hit rate
• Normal Google tests succeed around 10-20% of the time

Yet companies launch and move on without validating a feature’s impact.

Is your team better than Alphabet? If not, you should reconsider your approach.

Where are my designers at?

I'm looking for great design people to follow! 🧑‍🎨

My feed is full of lovely creative developers saying reasonable things, but I need something for my eyes as well 😀

My first thought was that this is satire.

My second thought was also that this is satire.

My third thought: I guess someone has a product vision for “Ubiquitous Teams” and they are following it blindly?

Worse product decisions have been made that way TBH.

Executives only ask three questions about your opportunity:

- Is it big enough to matter?

- How is it different from today’s business?

- Why now, not later?

If you don’t prep for these, your idea never makes it past “interesting.”

What if AI amounts to just a 10x search engine?

It is still powerful and useful, just with more limited use cases than the hype.

Increasingly I am finding that the value is very situational: compile data, quick review, repeatable task or if quantity matters more than quality. Google 2.0.

WDYT?

Some of the best product solutions come from observing what your customers are doing despite not being officially enabled.

eBay Motors, its 1st $1B category, came from this observation after Simon Rothman saw a car listed for sale. Before it was assumed to be a crazy idea.

Love this @bsky.app!
I think it's underappreciated that this site goes "we know you all came up with your own solution to things we don't have, and now that we have an official version we're working with your solution to combine the two"

Disappointing at how many product thought leaders seem not to be on Bluesky, including many who remain active on X.

1. Encourage people to post here, instead of -- or at least in addition to -- X.
2. As people move over & for any I've missed, please let me know so I can add to the starter pack.

Perfect plans don’t survive first contact with reality.

But lightweight, adaptive plans do. Mark progress. Set experiments. Then adjust fast. Your anchor is always what customers are already doing with the product. Stop defending the “right plan.” Start iterating on the next useful one.
