Gotta say, I thought ONE BATTLE AFTER ANOTHER was the real deal. Manages to feel both free-wheeling and action-packed, full of breathtaking sequences and set pieces. Di Caprio, Del Toro, Penn all on zinging form and Teyana Taylor is just dynamite. One of PTA's absolute best.

Been thinking a lot during this Oasis tour about the naked racism of Noel Gallagher's response to Jay-Z headlining Glastonbury in 2008 and how little pushback he got. Amazing how normalised their prejudices were by their adoring fanbase. Just banter though eh, lads?

Oasis stadium jaunt ends (for now), it has been odd seeing how massively they’re loved, and also odd that it is seen as churlish to critique it. For me, they inescapably represent the worst of the 90s, the banterous homophobia, the conservatism. It made life miserable & I struggle to get over that.

This feels like a bit of a landmark moment - live viewing on terrestrial TV is slowly dying, but PSBs are all losing streaming audience share to the streamers too. We should cherish these channels if they're to continue to thrive: these are precarious times.

It's like a grand, right? Content London is the biggest rip off in the whole world. It's also a soulless corporate hellhole - unlike half decent TV festivals like Series Mania, which offer creatives really cheap tickets because they WANT writers, directors etc to come. It's so lame in comparison.
