Colleen Jones asked me to interview her a couple of months ago during a chemotherapy appointment.

She told me to write one heck of a story. I hope I did her proud.

About always believing something wonderful is about to happen.

A newspaper wrecked on purpose.
POLITICO compiled a list of all the Washington Post staffers who have left in the past eight months. It’s at least a hundred names, many of them among the biggest names in journalism. This is the fastest erosion of a major outlet ever.

Hockey Canada sex assault verdict: Sports culture should have also been on trial
Sexual and gender-based violence in sport validate misogyny and reinforce sexual entitlement and inadequate accountability. This was evident in the Hockey Canada sexual assault trial.

This is more than music. It's who we are.

The Tragically Hip’s final concert wasn't just a goodbye — it was a reminder of what it means to be Canadian.
Our stories. Our struggles. Our spirit.

And who was there to broadcast it for all of us — coast to coast to coast?
CBC.
Our public broadcaster.

No CBC = fewer voices, fewer stories, less Canada.

This story has appeared across social and MSM since Sunday. It's an indication of the ties between the federal Conservative party, Alberta's UCP and Trump/MAGA at a time when Canadians need to be united. Also, that Premier Smith would appear on Breitbart News right now is a big red flag.
