This is the first Thanksgiving for Sophie & Colin Hortman without their parents, Minnesota state Rep. Melissa Hortman and Mark Hortman who were assassinated along with the family dog in an act of political murder. National guards troops were not deployed to the state in response.

How Can We Hold the Criminal Trump Regime Accountable?

Donald Trump failed up again thanks to a judge throwing out his Georgia election interference case, but that doesn't mean there aren't other ways to hold him and corrupt MAGA Reeks accountable.

National Guard troops don't sign up to be used as political pawns. They sign up to serve their country, not needlessly deploy to American cities to pick up garbage. These two soldiers should be alive right now and at home with their families for Thanksgiving. I'm furious.

Absolutely fantastic book.
THERE IS NO PLACE FOR US made NPR's Books We Love list!

It's described as a "paradigm-shifting, immersive book" and "a trenchant exploration of how America's disinvestment in public housing and relentless pursuit of free-market growth have fueled housing insecurity for poor working families."
