In a democracy based on freedom and the rule of law, we don’t jail public officials—or anyone—because of policy disagreements. We need everyone to repudiate this nonsense because a president cannot act as a prosecutor, judge, jury and dictator.

I have a general rule when it comes to allyship. I watch what people say and do and reserve judgment until later. In this case, people who are casually racist on the left will inevitably be overtly racist to other groups eventually.

Unc is not wrong and I think a lot of people are increasingly angry about the social dysfunction surrounding both the foolish assumptions of Trump voters and the bumbling cruelty of their intentions vs outcomes.
