After successfully making Gaza unlivable, Israel moves to begin the 'voluntary' emigration of Gazans, which of course is anything but voluntary in any real sense.

This is astonishing when you consider how controversial slavery became in Britain by the end of the 18th century, not to mention how recently some of these islands still had ties to Britain (some still have). Makes you think that they don't know this history because they don't know British history.
holy shit: “Among the 2,000 UK adults surveyed, 85% were unaware that Britain forcibly transported more than 3 million Africans to the Caribbean, 89% did not know that Britain enslaved people in the Caribbean for more than 300 years” www.theguardian.com/world/2025/n...

Must read account of some of the horrors happening to children in El Fashir.
Aid workers say hundreds of unaccompanied children have reached the Sudanese town of Tewila in recent weeks after fleeing El Fashir, where RSF forces have carried out mass killings and kidnappings since seizing the city.

Israel should be made to pay for the rebuilding of Gaza, certainly for everything it has destroyed since the ceasefire began.

"As the number of antisemitism investigations rose, they eclipsed other discrimination cases: in [2024], officials opened nearly twice as many inquiries over antisemitism allegations than over all other types of racial discrimination. Under Trump, the latter type appear to have ended altogether."
A new report published today by the AAUP & @mesa1966.bsky.social finds that the weaponization of civil rights law has been central to attacks on campus speech over the past two years.

Only one of 102 antisemitism complaints reviewed raise antisemitism claims unrelated to criticism of Israel.
