This is an unusually scathing attack on a political figure. It is unseemly. You can be harshly critical of Harris without being so nasty about it. For a journal aspiring to more mainstream appeal, this is not how you get it. The editors erred in letting this one get through, as is.

Despite giving in too easily, I don't get how we all see what Democrats stand for, and yet there's this widespread perception that Democrats have abandoned the white working class. That class has turned its back on Democrats, but not because Republicans have anything better to offer them as a class.

Trump is literally fighting harder to starve needy Americans than he is to lower inflation or insurance premiums.

I hate racists as much as anyone, but you're caricaturing - obviously caricaturing - the views of scientific racists like Watson. For them it is not about skin color as such, but how certain population groups evolved in certain environments.
