I mean, we're in our current political mess due to debate kids, so after school cooking classes are in fact superior to debate club or tennis.
Cook or take debate? Cook or work as unpaid farm labor? Cook or get upscale tennis lessons that further divide class? Ugh. Just make **everyone** cook for a semester or so so that everyone gets a skill onboarding that no one is guaranteed.

We have made such progress in the field of technology, but instead of using it to create an option to remove laugh tracks from what would otherwise be a comfort show to fall asleep to, we get tech that does shit like make up case law.
