It’s time for the Supreme Court to finally issue a ruling on tariffs. The Court has already recognized that tariffs function as a tax on the American people. A president cannot unilaterally impose new taxes on American citizens that power belongs to Congress alone.

That this has not been the message of the Democratic Party for the same time—or even now—is why they are neither our savior nor solution. We are here because they saw friendship with fascists as victory.
I will be vindicated in saying for the better part of a decade in public opinion that the Republican Party is the problem at the heart of American democracy and we will not be free until it is eradicated and the soil salted where it grew.
