25% of Drs in US are foreign grads. Many are on an H1B visa. This will hit health systems hard especially rural hospitals and hospitals in underserved areas that sponsor these visas through waiver programs. The old cost was about 5000$ a year.

NEW Democracy Atlas - Rule two: Be unified. Be visible. Turkey’s pro-democracy opposition demonstrates the value of uniting around common ground for greater impact. The story of how unlikely alliances have put a dent in Erdoğan’s image of invincibility. www.ifyoucankeepit.org/p/democracy-...
Democracy Atlas Eight rules of antiauthoritarianism
Rule two: Be unified. Be visible.
How Turkey’s coordinated, diverse alliances challenge the autocrat → Unite around common ground for greater impact.

1. Demonstrate unity. Form a broad coalition that includes anyone who opposes the autocrat, even former opponents. Find common ground around which to unite and organize.
2. Speak with a consistent message. Be visible and vocal, ensuring your message is unified and consistent in the face of a seemingly omnipresent autocrat.
3. Don’t split your power: Stay unified, especially when it comes time for elections. Commit to minimizing vote-splitting in order to maximize pro-democracy power.
4. Support independent media outlets. Counter the government's efforts to co-opt the media by supporting independent outlets, alternative media sources, and influencers.
5. Present a clear alternative. Demonstrate what a viable alternative to the autocrat looks like. Lesson learned:

In Turkey, unlikely political alliances made up of those committed to restoring democracy have helped the opposition mount viable electoral challenges to longtime ruler, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. By leveraging their unity and the ruling party’s growing unpopularity, pro-democracy forces have put a dent in Erdoğan’s image of invincibility.

My prediction is that in that scenario, he blames the Bureau of Labor Statistics, which puts out employment data. Calls them corrupt, run by Democrats, out to get him. Fires people there, insists their numbers cannot be trusted, White House puts out its own fictitious data to make Trump look good

The Gen Z worker awakes in the morning from her Microdeath (a new workforce trend where workers deliberately close their screens, repose horizontally, and are unavailable to respond to emails for up to eight hours)
A Day in the Life of the Gen Z Worker
Are you sure these are new workplace trends? Are you sure you aren’t just describing a routine phenomenon in an alarmed way?
