Republicans in Congress have done a lot wrong, but their unforgivable political sin, in my book, is their conscious decision that making every American's life worse is an acceptable price to pay for not being primaried.

They know what Trump is doing to America, and it doesn't matter to them.
the tariffs help no one and make the gop agenda much more difficult in just about every way.

but no republican will tell trump that. at least, not in a way he has to listen to.
