Despicable. Despicable to write it. Despicable to run it. Despicable to defend it. Denying the genocide in Gaza is enabling it, providing cover for war criminals…no matter the equivocations. But the argument that’s put forth—that if it were real genocide the death toll would be higher—is nauseating
This is from TODAY. Utter lunacy

If the U.S. government is going to take the position that, once removed from the United States, folks can’t be brought back, then it sure seems to me that federal courts should be reflexively and categorically barring *all* removals until they’re 100 percent certain that the removals are lawful.

If Ukraine Deal Wasn't Perilous Before, It Is Now
Ending the bloodshed by putting pressure on both sides and shifting the burden to Europe made some sense. Ambushing the victim and shutting out allies makes the US weaker around the world.

Mass firings, shutting down critical services, blowing up our alliances, crashing the markets, encouraging inflation...

These aren't the actions of a political party aspiring to get reelected.

These are the actions of an authoritarian regime that does not intend to honor elections ever again.

I continue to subscribe to the Washington Post because of outstanding reporting of its journalists. At first sign of Bezos’s heavy, partisan hand altering news coverage, I will cancel my subscription. I worry for all the journalists there who deserve a champion.

I know this won't happen, but Hochul removing Adams and then the judge immediately refusing the Justice Dept.'s request to end his prosecution because the rationale that it interferes with his ability to do his job no longer applies would be the week I have always dreamed of Eric Adams having.

If Mayor Adams was fired by the Governor, wouldn't that remove the rationale supporting DOJ motion to dismiss the indictment? Couldn't the judge then reject it?

Our NEXT president 😂🤣
Our next president will have to be technologically competent, at least , in order for us to sustain our place in the world.

This will become increasingly obvious over the next 4 years as AI gets more powerful

This isn’t necessarily bad. Truly. Done right, we will be a better, more equal society

Correct. If the birthdate field contains corrupt or mismatched data, it defaults to 1875-05-20, which serves as a flag. May 20, 1875, is the day the international standards and metrics treaty was signed. Everything is a conspiracy when you don’t know how anything works.
