You hate Landis, and this film complicates your hatred of him? Is that it?

In my head I always rhyme “woah” with “Noah” and I don’t know how so many people don’t.

Whinny. Whip. Whisperer. Horsey words that begin with “wh.”

Whoa.

Y'know I'm not supposed to say that word things are correct or incorrect because that's classist and snobby and gatekeeping etc.?

"Woah" is incorrect.

An astonishing number of companies have thrown success back in the faces of their customers because it wasn't the success they wanted.

I mean, Jesus definitely sought attention and influenced people, not for his own gratification obviously but for the good of others.

“The essential dilemma for any Jesus movie is the challenge of depicting Jesus as both divinely authoritative and humanly approachable—as someone you can imagine both leaving your nets to follow and also actually hanging out with and enjoying his company.”

SIX Jesus-themed movies in one year? THREE sets of Jesus-themed “twin movies”?! What’s going on? For U.S. CATHOLIC magazine, I wrote about the proliferation of Jesus entertainment—and what I called the “comfort-food Jesus” phenomenon.
Are there too many Jesus movies?
Are feel-good, comfort food depictions of Jesus doing more harm than good? Take our survey.

No one, and I mean NO ONE, in Hollywood is talking about Tilly Norwood except over drinks for a chuckle. Actors are such an important part of the creative process - you want an actor who can surprise you every take, not one whose performance you dial up and down on a laptop. This is an ad campaign.

This "article" is from Bari Weiss' The Free Press, which Paramount Skydance is acquiring. This is what's in store for the great CBS News of Walter Cronkite, Charles Kuralt and Dan Rather.🖕🏽

I'm sorry: "if I wish to see a virgin on-screen"?
My Favorite Actress Is Not Human
Tilly Norwood doesn’t need a hairstylist, has no regrettable posts, and if you wish to see a virgin on-screen, this is one of your better chances. That’s because she’s AI.

A picture of some AI girl standing on an AI landscape with an AI monster behind her. I'm gonna be so real: she looks about 14

I almost want to say my daughter Sarah has forgotten more about saints than I’ve ever known, but…she doesn’t forget much! Pier Giorgio Frassati was canonized with Carlo Acutis—but I was praying to Frassati before Carlo dressed as Spider-Man). Sarah explains why!

This one surprised me. It started as a little jaunt through some idioms associated with Shakespeare. Somehow, at the last minute, it morphed into an exploration of the history of English translation of the Bible and a tiptoe into the Greek used in the four Gospel accounts of Jesus’ death!

I don't know if I have a lot of church type followers, but someone among my 22k followers might? This church fired their head of music ministry for talking/singing about Gaza (you know...in the spirit of Jesus 🙄)
Maybe someone would like to grab this opportunity and hire an amazing musician?
clairewillett.bsky.social
hey so remember when I told you guys about my friend Ike Ndolo the amazing Catholic musician who writes songs about Gaza and racial justice and uses his social media platform to advocate for progressive causes

well the church where he worked doing music ministry fired him yesterday for his posts
