lrt I guess I just want more people saying "fuck you" to this administration, like the thing I've been most disheartened by is a lot of the instant capitulation from leaders across the board.

I'm reading a book of essays that has a lot of poetry in it and I keep thinking, like, man, I wish I was smarter. Like. I wish I had full mental access to this stuff. I strained a muscle in my jaw eating a big sandwich last month

one thing i’m stuck on is this idea that “masculine” energy means license to act like a chud in public, as opposed to more traditional notions of public masculinity, such as those that put a premium on the performance of integrity, honesty, honor and generosity.

Sorry to hear about David Lynch. I worked beside him (same studio) while he was making BLUE VELVET. He answered my questions about his work with grace and honesty. I especially enjoyed his deeply existential comic strip, The Angriest Dog in the World.”

If people are bothered by your mere existence, perhaps taking issue with you being present in public spaces where they can see you, don't even attempt to conform for their comfort. They aren't worth it. Instead, become as loud about your identity as possible and dare them to do something about it. 😇
