Philly has a whole list of words that phonetically changes depending on the lexeme which changes the scope of meanings depending on where in Philly you are from, and ultimately allows us to distinguish who is from the area in general and who is a transplant.

“Alright” being “Ard” is an example.

This current administration is thinking of selling student loans to private equity…

That’s good for two reasons…

1. They have to pay student loan borrowers for stripping them of their repayment protections.

AND

2. The new holders would HAVE to go to court to garnish wages.

I hear and see your concerns. Over the weekend, a couple users hosted on Blacksky's PDS were banned from the Bluesky app and thus the Bluesky API servers. This was a weakness of our system I've been aware of and hoped we had more time to address before any kind of public incident. 1/11
