The Insta girlies are trying to sell me on suede over-the-knee boots with short skirts and bulky sweaters, and as much as I'd like to go Full Velma, the thought of a chair touching the backs of my legs gives me the full-body ick. So that's a sentence we can say in the year of our Lord 2025.

Oh my. Just finished House of Idyll by @delilahsdawson.bsky.social and I can’t remember another book that kept me guessing so thoroughly. I was rooting for everyone—yeah even that one—until the last pages when All The Shit Gets Real Real. I hope she’s planning a sequel because I need to know more.
