My local credit union has a whole fact sheet just for sustainability loans. Loans for solar, heat pumps/weatherization (0% interest!), efficient appliances, bikes (0% for local ebikes!), and farm shares. A great example of what banks can be with leadership and good state policy.

Spoiler alert: rampant ag-chem pollution, unmanaged waste, privatisation, plus climate change, means the company was about to poison half of Tunbridge Wells and decided this would be a better option. Thank God they did. But FFS how UK govt isn't using this to just nationalise water is beyond me.

Mid-week, an "inside slider"-type storm will move southward from the Great Basin toward SoCal, possible generating some showers in the southern half of CA & SW. Gusty/dry north winds linked to this might also finally help the CV tule fog finally break up, at least temporarily.
