Had a small game day after work with some friends. #magicalathlete was a hit as always and I finally got #barony to the table. Everyone was a bit cautious, being quite defensive and not very aggressive but I think in a future game people would be more comfortable on the attack. #boardgames

My top games of 2025. For the Mechwarrior 5 Clans DLC you should add include Wolves of Tukkayid and Flash Storm though Wolves won the picture slot because its the better of the two. Nox Archaist out here killing it as an Apple II game making a modern top 10. I'll happily defend any of these choices.

Why do I keep looking into 8-bit microcomputers? I didn't grow up with them. I don't have a particular need for them and yet....they call to me. Originally was looking into the revived Commodore 64 but theres community 8-bits like the Neo6502, Commander x16 and AgonLight. Help! #8bit #retrocomputing

Got to try #ClosestGhost, a #looneypyramid game as part of the Halloween Season. Pretty sure my oldest only likes it because you eat the candy pieces as you play but hey thats as good a reason as any.

Finished #Dolmenwood session 4 yesterday and the party went and investigated a destroyed village and confirmed that Crookhorns are indeed bad news. They managed to find a trunk full of treasures hidden there but otherwise are at a crossroads for next session. Smuggling? Helping the poor? Who knows!
