Thank you ☺️ it looks lot more interesting with oil with how the overlapping end grains absorbing more oil then the side grain and the slow fade with the rounded edges was a surprise and I’m looking forward to showing it off

To celebrate finally finishing my new table set I got some little touches to make it feel more useable in them encroaching long nights. The overground tube fabric cushion was more silly a idea but now feels incredibly fitting. Now to make the rest of the space as nice. #woodworking

Honestly using Gen AI for backgrounds and textures seems like an obvious method for smaller teams to make bigger and better worlds. Making this some kind of litmus test is asking for 3D games to be more expensive to make, which in turn means more centralization at the likes of EA.

A programmer for Expedition 33 did indeed use generative AI art early as placeholder textures that they missed removing at launch.

This isn’t in my piece, as it wasn’t a good fit and isn’t new information. but it’s worth clarifying

Got me long term employment, gave me a platform for others to reach out when they ask for help with mentoring. Was the only way I ever got a connections to the grater dev and art community that I would never of found without it. I still see positivity in these spaces.
