Patch 1.3, the three year anniversary update for Purgatory Dungeoneer, is out now! The game's also 50% off (so currently $4.99) so it's as good a time as any to check out an RPG about retired adventurers!

A turn-based JRPG battle with several enemies on the left and the player's party of five on the right. The selected enemy is the Cyclops Blackguard, who currently has five status effects with tooltips shown.

Also again feeling odd about seeing so many people I haven't seen for 8ish years. The reason I try to make it to the services each time is because it's likely the next time that we meet will be because there's one less person above ground.

Went to my great-aunt's funeral today. Lived to be 85, and had recently celebrated her 65th wedding anniversary

Hard to imagine knowing someone that long, let alone staying together that long

There's so many interactions like this, on top of the fun dialogue in the Demon Haunt that I'm really coming back around on this game

The base game I thought was okay, but Vengeance really adds just so much more, especially with combat. Genuinely one of the best feeling turn-based combats out there

Then I got into another fight, found another Nekomata, started talking and she went "oh it's you, yeah I'm free now" and joined the party
developerdamien.bsky.social
Like I tried negotiating with a Nekomata, and she was on her cellphone. I waited for her to finish, and she asked for some item. I gave it to her, and she immediately went "oh I'm getting a call" and left

Playing through SMT V: Vengeance again and gosh, I do still think that SMT III: Nocturne has the better story and works great as an RPG with survival horror elements, but Vengeance just has such good demon dialogue and interactions

Yeesh, hope you regenerate well!

I hope you can see this, because I am doing it as hard as I can.

thinking about Oscar Ishikawa again. He's an affable civil servant, has two glowing swords on his belt, and claims to be "two-time isekai champion of the world." he blinks out of existence mid-speech partway thru chapter 1, but shows back up after chapter 3, now with a third glowing sword

characters from dream doll duelists (OC setting that eventually will be a game i'm working on with lily) in the style of gen 1 pokemon trainer sprites

been working on this off and on for awhile. Fun stylistic limitation. i will happily field any question about any of my OCs

I know that ppl hate talking about traffic but it's at least one part of how you prove impact and how stuff still gets greenlit. If you're a big journalist or an account or whatever, it costs you nothing to share a big impactful story to your audience but it means everything to the journalist.

Man, if you're going to share a screenshot of the story and a screenshot of an X post of someone else sharing the story, just share the fucking link! wacobridge.org/2025/10/06/d...

not bad for a three year old non-live-service game

Whenever anarchism — or any idea more radical than the status quo — gets dismissed as unserious, it's worth remembering the current system runs on things like "we put all the money on a scam machine that tells rich dipshits they're god."

when I was defending itch I heard from a lot of - frankly to my shock - other queers who were like "it's a platform, platforms are the enemy" and until we're able to distinguish _as users_ the ways in which worker owned services aren't your enemy and deserve grace, we won't be seeing very many
