My experience of it is that it's very much like an activities club from secondary/high school or University - so it's very much you get out what you put in. Don't expect to be told what to do, but do expect helpful structure and support!

HomeTeam works somewhat like a global game jam albeit with much more adult-friendly timelines and clearly organized teams, projects, and workloads where everyone contributes as much, and whenever they can - around whatever schedule they have to work with!
