I almost feel like the Gaetz nomination is a loyalty test to see just how far Republican senators are willing to go. And by flooding the zone with horrible picks it makes some of them look less horrible by comparison.

I'm not convinced the Gaetz thing is a shell game. It might be. But they are not subtle. If it's not, I don't need to tell you he's a clown. He is of limited mental capacity. I'm serious. He is not smart or political enough to pull the levers to their fullest extent.

Very little of what Trump does these days amazes me.
Any one of the last three of Trump’s Cabinet-level picks (Gabbard as DNI, Gaetz as AG, RFK for HHS), standing alone, would arguably have been the worst in American history.
