So with the East Wing destroyed, is Melania still decorating the White House for Christmas?

On 6/12, DHS Sec’y Kristi Noem said “We are staying here to liberate [LA] from the socialists and the burdensome leadership this governor and mayor have placed on this country and this city.” This use of military force to displace a democratically elected is the very definition of a coup.

My 3 year-old was reading the Times when he turned to me, gravely, and asked: "Daddy, why did the senator ask mean questions to the nice plastic surgery lady?" And when I told him "because that lady pledged to liberate LA from socialists," he started crying.

If Republicans want people who they deem as freeloaders to take drug tests, then they should be happy to drug test the biggest government moocher, Elon Musk.
Elon Musk and his minions at DOGE are ripping through our government, slashing care for veterans, public health programs, and the Social Security Administration.

Under my bill, they would be subject to drug tests, just like every other executive branch employee. It's the absolute bare minimum.
SCOOP: Rep. Mikie Sherrill is introducing a bill that would require special government employees to undergo routine drug testing.

That would apply to a fair number of DOGE staffers — and to Elon Musk.

🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨

Last night, Elon Musk announced the plan to ELIMINATE Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid.

How do we stop him? MASSIVE PUBLIC OUTRAGE.

Macroeconomics needs to be a requirement in high school. Maybe then people would understand supply vs. demand and how a global pandemic can cause inflation. Incompetence can cause inflation too. FOTUS has damaged this country “bigly.”

Inflation spiked as Biden helped the U.S. emerge from a pandemic and avoid a recession. Trump is choosing to boost inflation by imposing tariffs, a tax on consumers.
Was inflation really why people voted for Trump, or was it racism and sexism? If people stick with Trump now, we’ll know the answer.

Unfortunately, I did not enjoy any 5 ⭐️ novels in February. I didn’t rate Parable of the Sower. It was a brutal dystopian novel. I’m trying to get my head around it. I guess that I will hold off on reading The Road by Cormac McCarthy. #Booksky

It is perfectly legal to know your rights and to educate others about them, too.

EVERYONE in the United States, citizen or not, has rights. I will not allow this administration to intimidate us from helping you know about them.

Here’s our shareable guide ⬇️: (pt. 1/2)

I’m happy to see some legal action against Musk and his fake agency DOGE. Mr. Unelected and unconfirmed Musk must be stopped. I’ve been trying to call my senators @booker.senate.gov and @andykimnj.bsky.social. The phone lines are busy. We need to call our senators regardless of party affiliation.
BREAKING: if you don’t like what DOGE is doing at Treasury— neither do we

So we just sued to stop it! www.citizen.org/wp-content/u...

I’ll be on @thereidout tonight at 7:40 PM ET to break down that and much more

@corybooker.com You are disappointing this constituent with your cabinet votes. I already sent you an email regarding my concerns. I now will be calling your offices. I’m tired of your platitudes and want action.
These are the dems that voted to confirm the guy that just handed the Treasury to Musk:

Below is my reading summary for January. Caste is excellent but tough. I think that everyone should read it, especially in light of the current political climate. I suggest reading The Sum of Us by Heather McGhee first. It has a similar theme but not as gut punching.

Reasonable people conduct investigations first before blaming others and promoting conspiracy theories after a tragedy. However, FOTUS and his minions are not reasonable people. #FOTUS #DementiaDon

The FOTUS is blaming Obama and Biden for the aviation accident last night. He said that he made air travel safer and blaming DEI. SMH. He could have just read his statement expressing condolences.
