Yes, they exist and are a problem. But there are also very real humans with terrible opinions and attitudes.

Because there is a lot of fake BS and shallow reaction farming that happens on Threads outside the genuine human communities there.

On the one hand I like this and on the other I’ve met a BUNCH of cool people on Threads because my measly few-hundred follower account had a couple posts get boosted by the algorithm.

There are pros and cons to both!

I think it’s good to have a place that doesn’t promote engagement baiting.
