I was hoping to do a zine w/ the downtime system I've been developing for my Gradient Descent campaign that uses Prospero's Dream as the home base for Mothership Month. But I couldn't make the deadline! So I'm going to release it as a series of posts on my newsletter/blog. Just like it was 2010!

The history of RPG design has a familiar right-hand path — what-if wargaming — and a more obscure left-hand path. Improv theater games, Surrealist and Situationist games, New Games, parlor games, storytelling games... back into the Renaissance and presumably further.

Trump wraps up a speech to military leaders that represented a major escalation of his effort to weaponize the armed forces into a tool he can use to violently quash domestic dissent. Hard to imagine how anyone with a shred of dignity can keep serving after this, which of course is the point.
