This kind of harassment and abuse of scholars is Charlie Kirk's legacy and it's only getting worse.

Like, I can summarize this smut comic myself AFTER I HAVE READ IT and it'll be better than whatever an AI would do because smut is completely beyond its scope. Also, if I wanted some dry "there are pics of penises" summary I wouldn't be looking at smut.

Acrobat now has this super annoying AI prompt banner that says "This document appears to be long you can summarize it with AI" and first of all FUCK YOU and second of all yes, it's a long ass smut comic. Which is the last thing I want to "summarize" because then you'll miss the WHOLE POINT.

I don't doubt that a lot of people at the New York Times were jerks and at times cast unfair aspersions to Bari Weiss — but her claim to "hate bullies" is absolutely laughable considering the many institutionally protected thugs and online bullies she calls friends and allies.

In creative writing, anything like "filler" is a sign of poor craftsmanship. Every transition, every line, every word is a chance to make the whole better.
