Can we also address that the xAI team is both deflecting blame and perpetuating a fraud here?

Grok is not sentient. It cannot regret anything. It is not sorry. The safeguards that failed are the sole responsibility of the xAI team. Period.

Another outrageous action. The Netanyahu govt is banning over 30 aid orgs — including CARE, Mercy Corps & Doctors Without Borders groups — from providing life-saving aid to people in Gaza.

Another betrayal of humanity. And, once again, the Trump Admin says and does nothing.
Israel to bar 37 aid groups as UK and EU warn of impact in Gaza
Israel's move is criticised by 10 countries, which say the new registration rules for international NGOs are "restrictive" and "unacceptable".

This is an earth-shattering humiliation for America of which its reputation may never recover.

I don't have to deal with contracts but this seems like good general advice when considering the use of AI in anything that matters.
I don't know how many times it needs to be said that you absolutely should not let fucking "AI" anywhere near your legal contracts, either in creating them or evaluating them, but apparently it needs to be said at least one more time, so allow me to say it again, here, right now

This whole accelerationist narrative Bernie is speaking against is extra stupid when you consider that AI hasn't found product-market fit yet.

I'm not ready to have a conversation about wrecking the environment until you're showing actual value (and even then, not really interested).
Bernie Sanders: "We need to be thinking seriously about a moratorium on data centers. You gotta slow this process down. It's not good enough for the oligarchs to tell us 'you adapt.' Are they gonna guarantee healthcare to all people? What are they gonna do when there are no jobs? Make housing free?"

It’s pretty wild that the most rabidly anti-immigrant administration in recent memory is comprised of a President married to an immigrant, a VP married to the daughter of immigrants, an assistant AG in charge of Civil Rights who’s an immigrant (Dhillon), & it was all funded by an immigrant (Musk).

A great example of how the @nytimes.com centers white Americans and Trump supporters in its anecdotal political coverage. You never see stories like this about Black Democrats whose cities are cracked in Republican gerrymandering to give them Republican elected officials.

The passage of Proposition 50, which redrew California’s congressional map, means that all of the state’s conservative north is likely to be represented by Democrats.
