Florence Pugh speaks up at the "Together for Palestine" fundraiser:

"Silence in the face of such suffering is not neutrality, it is complicity. Pressure on the governments."

When will the world see what is happening, More importantly when will they admit what is happening?

“Un-British”? The PM of the country that invaded, pillaged and exploited nearly 90% of the world has the gall to lecture anyone about morality.

No nation can take the moral high ground when it stood by as Israel raped, tortured and killed innocent Palestinians - all streamed live in 4K.

Scotland thrives because people choose to make it their home. Migration isn’t something to fear, it’s the lifeblood of our communities and keeps our cities alive, our towns dynamic, and our society forward-looking. It’s one of Scotland’s greatest assets and we should be celebrating that!
The implication from Labour is that we, migrants, don't contribute enough, don't integrate enough, don't work enough.

Meanwhile I've volunteered in political activism for no pay, I've taken Gàidhlig evening classes, I make a living as an artist creating abstract renditions of Scottish landscapes.

Good morning world. So my phone updated and in news that is likely to shock no one medtronic doesn't support it.

I wonder how many months it will take them too update the app as they only seem interested in 🍎 users.

So true
We've now had 11 years of Blair McDougall's wonderful Better Together binfire, and it has truly turned out to be everything Yes voters predicted and more.

Scotland really did make the most appalling mistake in 2014.

Eleven years on from the referendum, and that girl in the picture breaks my heart. What a world we could have had.

I wrote this last year about what hope is and how it feels to me. The last few paragraphs make this year's me weep.

The Hope Of Independence – Ten Years On
I write a lot about how I see hope. I have poems about how hope doesn’t feel positive to me – I know its effect is positive, but it’s not a nice feeling. It hurts. In movies, when hope sparks…

This is ridiculous in the extreme. The fact the Tangerine Tyrant is over here (despite most of us being in opposition to it and only 16% of Brits having a positive view of Trump) and the police are doing everything they can to remove any visible opposition is pathetic.
Protesters in Britain projected images of President Trump and Jeffrey Epstein onto Windsor Castle on Tuesday night before the president arrived for a state visit. More protests are planned for Wednesday.
