UK Law protects satire under Article 10 of the Charter of Human Rights but it is more nuanced to acknowledge Harm, Distress, Harassment and Defamation of living individuals - which means you are not automatically protected and weaponization of law (i.e. Lawfare) can be used to suppress free speech.

Yup - the ability to rip off some one's likeness is scary. The SAGA strike had provisions for protecting actors likeness, voice and image from AI abuse in "union-made" materials but lawsuits may be needed to prevent abuse outside of satire of political figures, which is protected free speech.
