This is totally humiliating. Mr Serious Negotiator and the other Premiers had to pay a hundred grand to a lobbying firm to get a vanity meeting with a Trump underling who made them all look like fools.

The only thing Doug Ford is fighting for is to keep himself in power as long possible, consequences be damned. It may not be as acutely painful as a trade war, but this man has let crises in housing, healthcare, and infrastructure spiral out of control for 7 years and gaslit us all the way down.

Housing affordability has been the number one issue facing Ontario since before Ford took office.
Other provinces have figured out how to build homes, but the Ford govt continues to say no to every solution we put forward.

Final housing start numbers are out and Ontario's are bad. Starts down nearly 15K in ON (but up 20K in the rest of the country). And it's not just condo apts - big drop in single-detached, etc.
