Very glad our new radio drama about the first radio drama has landed well with critics. I hope it lands well with listeners-in/broadcatchers (I prefer the 1920s lingo).

Here they try to back it up a little bit, citing a Guardian report. One problem, though: that Guardian article is from 2015. Ten years ago. Since then, the BBC has introduced widespread VPN blocking (as anyone who’s tried to watch iPlayer using one knows).

Little bonus from the filing. The second paragraph here takes a general claim about VPN use in Florida and imagines everyone’s using it to watch the BBC.

But the first paragraph is missing something: notice it has absolutely no supporting reference. They’re just claiming it, sans evidence.

Now, why didn’t Trump’s lawyers just include the sentence in the quote, like Michael Prescott did?

It’s because Prescott omitted a chunk of quote too. Trump’s lawyers have managed to cut it out of their filing, too, but they’ve done it more cleverly than him. Here’s the missing bit:

The BBC has its issues but I really don’t feel that the Telegraph basically spending all week yelling about a rather thin series of ‘scandals‘ and then pissing itself with delight because they got Trump to say something about it is a great look.

This article from the UK edition of The Week is probably somewhat 'under the radar' in the US. But looks and see who Elon Musk is supporting to destroy Romanian democracy.
