It is with great sorrow that the University of Bayreuth, the Institute of African Studies, the Africa Multiple Cluster of Excellence and BIGSAS received the sad news. We deeply mourn the loss of a great soul, a great Mwalimu and a friend! Our thoughts are with his family! May he rest in peace.
