A Grinch-costumed individual gifted me two candy canes at the mall today. Upon arriving home I unwrapped one & tossed it into my coffee without thinking, then completely forgot about it!
Took a sip a couple hours later & asked myself how the regular blend got spiced- Outplayed myself. Mmmm yummy!

Of course, the very notions of which I speak require kindness and compassion and caring about people even if you haven't met them, which seems borderline silly considering the date and country I write this in. We seem to have developed an allergy to things like kindness and tolerance and helping.

The EE-3 carbine from Star Wars was based on the E-11 used by the stormtroopers, but the EE-3 was in use before the Clone Wars. So the E-11 was in use before and during the Clone Wars, but not by the clones or droids. So it was military / police surplus when the evil Empire picked it up? Amazing.
