As a lifelong New Yorker, Toronto is the city where I feel most like a New Yorker. It has everything, including some of New York's City issues. But the famous line — New York run by the Swiss — has a lot of truth to it. I love this city.
We get this all the time from young dudes who don’t know much aside from their sport. No ESPN on the tee-vee, weird grocery stores… a passport? What’s that? And then they get here and discover, “oh, it’s New York with less guns and free health care.” We see it every draft for every sport
