New, from me: The Trump administration isn’t just using social media to shape a narrative. They view the world through a social media lens in a way that is plausibly corrupting their judgment and undermining their performance.

A Head Start program operated by a tribe on a Native American reservation was told not to prioritize tribal kids, in clear violation of Head Start Act. The program director also can’t do training on trauma-informed instruction, or to support kids with autism.

This is the same quagmire Rs got stuck in during Trump I. Free market = better, European-style = bad, taxes = bad. The idea that people might just want the government to take care of something so they're not on the phone for months getting fucked over does not compute.
Putting the deafening sexism aside, i still don’t understand this weird US insurance concept that you can choose ahead of time what ills and accidents your family is going to get hit by, and how much you want to pay for it… that’s literally not how life works.

Soon, GOP will start talking block grants due to administrative complexity they created.

So you know how heartbreaking it was for the Blue Jays to lose in 7 games after not winning a title in 30 years?

That was the Dodgers in 2017.

Now imagine the Blue Jays and their fans finding out in three years the Dodgers cheated throughout this 2025 World Series like the Astros did in 2017.

The Inspector General system is basically broken now. Most IGs have been fired, most positions remain vacant. Those who remain or would take the job pose no risk to holding the regime accountable.
Congress added more barriers to Trump firing IGs after his first term. He just ignored them.
