Quite often people note (rightly) that the media has a double standard for democrats and republicans, and that democrats have to be perfect to get the same coverage as republicans being malicious and insane. If we take polling results like those above as a given, does that also apply to us?

This is not hard. Artists are not responsible for ensuring the Kennedy Center remains relevant and successful. The center’s board is responsible for that, in a fiduciary way. All of this energy being directed at artists should be re-directed at the board.

I’ve seen no serious engagement from senior Dems about what, exactly, they plan to do in terms of reasserting congressional power, as in identifying the available tools and thinking seriously about ways to use them to dig us out of the current state of total constitutional collapse.
