EVEN/ESPECIALLY if your thesis is "AI is just the worst and I refuse to use it," so that when microsoft/google/your government make it unescapable you can clearly articulate your sense of betrayal when you call them out on it/organize against it.
I've mentioned it before but only because I'm proud of our org for doing the work of putting together our own responsible AI guiding principles.

There's such value in spelling out what matters to you and how that intersects with AI & I think everyone should do it.

ISRAELI IS STARVING CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES IN GAZA TO DEATH

Anyone who has ever said the Holocaust was disgusting should be objecting to this. Loudly.

There are food trucks, waiting to deliver relief. Israel won't let them in.

Last night NDP voters saved Canada from the surging hard right, but had to sacrifice our own party in the process.

Today the battle begins for a system where we don't have to do that any more.

We badly need a party that can save Canada from the oligarchs who brought us all to the brink.

What a huge loss for so many in the Greater Vancouver Area.
"Our community is mourning the loss of Kira Salim, whose life was taken over the weekend at the Lapu Lapu tragedy.
They were an epic drag king, a wonderful exuberant contributer to our local community, volunteer, activist, local educator, mental health worker. Kira will be deeply missed.” </3

Please Echo This Around Loud and clear. We have got to get the language right. When someone is picked up off the street and put on a plane to a prison in another country with out any access to due process under the law- they ARE NOT being deported - They are being DISAPPEARED!

Stop calling it deporting, so MAYBE more Americans will get it. "Deporting" is sending someone back, after due process, to the country they came from, where they arrive a free person. This is human trafficking to a foreign torture prison for the rest of their lives. GET THE LANGUAGE RIGHT.
