Please keep calling your reps to demand they oppose KOSA and other internet censorship bills!
It appears that some members of the Democratic Party are supporting KOSA.

The act purports to be about protecting children, but it could weaponize Trump's FTC to target LGBTQ+ content on the internet.

Hi. For anyone seeing this, this is fake (or likely misiattributed). The survey in question didn't ask for authentication. On top of that, clicking a link can't steal your auth token because that would be a MAJOR CSRF exploit. Also, here's the survey site's SSL cert info.

That discord AI survey going around was not fake, the URL is linked to Discords account with the survey providing website as it matches prior official usage

It is not stealing your account, nor are there "invisible AI bots" in your server that you have to ban

People are just making shit up again

please call your representatives. demand they oppose censorship bills like the SCREEN Act, KOSA, and demand protections for Section 230

#PSA to any #Discord admins and moderators!

If you are against AI-generated media like I am, I implore all of you to remove “Birthday Bot#5876”. The bot devs changed its icon from the first image (see alt text) to an AI-generated smiling cake.

If I get more updates, I’ll share them in the replies.

Genuinely make sure you shut down any idea of them using GenAI.

Belittle them, berate them, bash them. Tell them they're becoming the new Skype.

i don't care if they're the most anti-genAI people on the planet, people need to know that this is a possibility now and it is WILDLY unsafe

If you are still using twitter, get the heck off of their and delete your account.
As of January 15, X (Formally Twitter), will have an irrevocable license to use all and every content in the platform, for A.I training and you can opt out of it.
I recommend all artists to just completely leave that platform.

The scam website that is trying to steal money from artists is back, new logo and... very hastily made website.
Be wary of them, block and report and warn other artists.

You do know that Twitter's engagement numbers are too high because of accounts that aren't real and they just want the numbers up to convince people to stay on Twitter

Don't be manipulated by Twitter's algorithm and some of my art is going better on BlueSky because real people shared and liked it
Oh my god bruh you only have 300 followers here, of course you’re not getting as much engagement

Twitter users are spreading some crazy misinfo about Bluesky amid this AI art situation. I have a really cynical read on all this — I think there’s fearmongering on Twitter to prevent people from leaving. “Please don’t walk out of the jail, even though the door is open”

Basically; I took her into my home after she claimed she was being abused by her parents (which was a lie)
While she was here she:
-Touched me
-touched my dog
-took a bunch of her pills and ran off so we'd have to hunt her down
-made me the asshole if I ever had to confront her on anything
If you get a warning message from beaglebabskye or bougiebitchskye or whatever she goes by now about itself or @elysiatatsu.bsky.social or @coffinpaws.bsky.social she is lying through her teeth. She's been a liar and an abuser for YEARS and she finally got caught. That's all.

@rittzler.bsky.social (creator of Pseudoregalia), has had their Discord and email hacked and is linking to a virus in disguise. If you see anything linking to a game called "Furfall", DO NOT engage with it. It's not made by Rittz and isn't a real game (it's a Remote Access Trojan) DO NOT CLICK IT.

I'll post here as well, for the new Bluesky folks (or those that did not know of the feature), Logged-out visibility

"Discourage apps from showing my account to logged-out users.
Bluesky will not show your profile and posts to logged-out users."
This does not make your account private.

For further further context, it doesn't "remove" Glaze. Glaze was only ever a tool that inserted adversarial noise patterns to fool certain image generation training datasets. It's not a magic "no AI button." There is no amount of poisoning you can do to combat this type of image generation.
For further context twitter added a button that allows users to generate ai images using existing art posts from artists. It removes glaze and it basically reskins the artwork by using the existing work as a base. Twitter is no longer a safe space for art

This is fucking awful.

No matter HOW much time you spent on something - no matter how much of your skill and practice went into being able to do it - a complete stranger can IMMEDIATELY copy it into any number of things, take credit for it, and profit from it.

I’m begging you all - GET OFF TWITTER

No. This sucks and this is really dangerous.

In solidarity with all artists, Please be cautious.

I know many will remain on Twitter because they have mostly everything here but be aware this time it's worse than the other times.
Heads up to artists still using Twitter- Twitter is now adding an "Edit image" button under all images posted on the site that allows everyone to feed it into genAI and modify it as they wish with a prompt

This is surprisingly real. Usually it’s hard to tell if it’s hyperbole, but this is not. And if Twitter fucks up? Max $100 payout to you.

Just to tl;dr it for some: posting art on X going forward means you are giving up all rights to that art, whether you made it or own the characters in it.

It will be used for AI and AI training. It will be used by the X editing program.

Please stop ignoring the obvious. It is owned by n*zis.

NEW: Elon Musk's Grok chatbot will, with minimal prompting, provide residential addresses of everyday Americans.

Prompts as simple as "[name] address" immediately returned accurate home addresses of private citizens — alongside other personal info we didn't ask for.

Abandon Twitter for good. It's time. It's been time.
