Continuing my 80s-90s horror movie watch-fest and landed on 1985’s Re-Animator.

I’m over halfway through and, goddamn, it is EXACTLY the cheesy, gloriously terrible film I wanted it to be! How have I never seen this before?!

Hard recommend if you like old horror movies. I’m having the best time rn

I’m on vacation until the end of next week and I’m trying to squeeze in as many cheesy horror movies as I can. Already did Hellraiser and Nightmare on Elm Street (never saw NoES before! Loved it)

About to start The Craft. DAMN, this was a formative film for me as a kid. Excited to dive back in. 🍿

I don’t mind the smell of the actual smoke but I HATE the lingering smell in people’s clothes and hair 🤢

I quit cigarettes years ago, but now I’m in the middle of watching various horror movies from the 80s-90s and DAMN do all these cheesy, stressed-out actors make chain smoking look good.

Like I haven’t really craved them too much, but Hellraiser is really seducing me with all that sexy cancer rn.

Sometimes Alastor gets so frustrated with his unhealing wound that he rips out his stitches in rage.

But after he calms down, he carefully puts back every stitch knowing that he still needs them to have any hope of healing.

He is not doing well, guys.
