Reform UK’s ‘Dr’ David Bull (on GMC register but not licensed to practice) was VERY keen to welcome a ….Dr Aseem Malhotra last month (despite Aseem being under investigation by GMC for spreading misinformation).

So seeing Bull opine on the GMC…smells like 🐂 💩🤷‍♂️

Just heard Chris Philp on BBC’s Today programme explaining why the Tories want to leave the ECHR. He claimed ECHR isn’t mentioned in Belfast Agreement - which is simply untrue. The UK govt agreed to incorporate it into NI law & give direct access to the courts (Strand 3). Why no BBC fact-check?

…so we did the only thing sensible one could do. Have a pint 🍺 in the nearest pub to celebrate & 🚲 to Buckingham Palace before heading home.
A great trip but w/ a big lingering thought…do we do enough to celebrate our civil engineering history if no signs at the beginning or end of #GrandUnionCanal

mishaps? 2 punctures and a dump in the canal…well the canal is maintained by the Canal & Rivers Trust….NOT the Canals, Rivers & Cycling Trust…so priorities to some parts of the canal network over others

The #GrandUnionCanal goes through some stunning scenery…yet we seem to have forgotten how this is part of our national heritage assets. The Canal & Rivers Trust are doing their best…but have faced massive cuts in their funding

…we met up in Birmingham…& then went to Salford Junction, 1 of the Birmingham starts of the #GrandUnionCanal it happens to be right under Spaghetti Junction…there’s a sign celebrating THAT but nothing celebrating this 18th piece of engineering
