By law, the US can't give military aid to foreign forces engaged in human rights violations. US and UN officials said the situation in Gaza is dire. US gave Israel 30 days to surge aid to Gaza. That deadline came and went today.

A couple days ago I posted a black-crowned night heron that had taken off to follow a heron to the other side of the marsh.
This is the Great Blue Heron that led the short trip to check out the fishing on the other side.
Here it is just taking off!🪶
