I’ve bought multiple pairs of jeans in a larger size (for room in the thighs) and had the waists taken in as much as they could. And now I’ve lost weight 🙃
And no one talks about or addresses the struggle we black women face when shopping for jeans. Trying to find a pair that fits your curves but doesn’t leave the hideous gap in the back waist part is impossible

Sky cousins, I know life is a scary mess right now but if you can, please go get everything in/on your body checked that can be done. Some tests are uncomfortable physically or emotionally but needle pricks heal and bruises fade. Those issues are easier to recover from than cancer or death.

I would like to go further. There are really only two types of people: 1) those who work for money and 2) those whose money work for them. And if you have to work to provide and pay bills, you’re in group one and should ALWAYS stand in solidarity with the working class.
If you're Black in America and not making north of $100,000 (and have kids and/or own a home), you're essentially working class. I don't like the word "broke." Poor is more apt, I prefer working class because circumstances can change, but you'll never be considered "rich" -- it's tough.

I know that there is just so much going on in every direction, but it does really feel like we've reached a point of class divide where the people making Big Money Decisions are an alien species who can't imagine what the rest of us are thinking at any point.
