Hit the streets and stay there. Dont buy anything that isnt local. It sounds simple but we really aren't doing it yet. Monthly scheduled "events" don't cut it anymore.

And I'm not saying that all kids will respond to that incentive, but I think for some fields that have life or death stakes to their work, and high risks, they need to know that not knowing their shit is often a literal death sentence for someone else.
