Everything that hasn't killed me has made me MUCH weaker.
Why are we so vulnerable to violence during one of the most vulnerable positions a woman can possibly find herself in.
Society obviously turning a blind eye to this.
Pregnant people are more likely to die by homicide than any obstetric-related cause — particularly if they are young or Black. These three women are seeking justice for their daughters.

Evangelical infant mortality is about 2.95 times as high as non-Evangelical. This is probably due to 93% of the Evangelicals who rely on prayer for health care. I blame the ministers who use that promise, probably to increase $ contributed. I am mean but not as mean as them. See more at ALT. 🧪💡☠️

They later sold their patent to University of Toronto for $1 each, hoping the agreement would keep the lifesaving medication cheap and accessible. 🧪

We have a measles out break, a tuberculosis outbreak and Avian Flu ALONG with the usual rhino virus, RSV, flu and COVID at this very moment.

They don't care if we die. Believe that!
The White House took its wrecking ball to the NIH on Friday to slash $4 billion in critical, ongoing funding for research at universities and schools across the nation. After a panicked weekend for scientists, blue state attorneys general came to the rescue. My write-up: https://buff.ly/3WUfxVe

It’s how a sociopath thinks and speaks in the face of a tragedy. He has no idea how to react because—and I mean this literally, not figuratively—he actually doesn’t care. He’s just trying to figure out what a normal human adult would say, though candidly I’m not sure he much cares about that either.
What kind of message is this?

Donald Trump is the most unpopular president at the start of his term in modern American political history.

Don't let anyone talk to you about a mandate.

Don't let anyone talk to you about there being support for his agenda.

Don't let anyone tell you that anything about this presidency is normal.

(🧵) A thread on possible reasons Inauguration Day is being moved indoors. To be clear—speaking as a Trump biographer—the chances it’s being moved because Trump is concerned about the safety of the crowd in frigid temps is...zero. It’ll be cold but not dangerously so, and he doesn’t value human life.
